	Please mark your calendars for the upcoming mandatory safety meetings. One meeting will be on Wednesday, May 23 and the second is to be determined on either Wednesday, May 30 or Thursday, May 31. Both meetings will be held at 6 p.m. at the boathouse.

	You are required to attend at least one safety meeting this year. Essential safetly information will be covered in each meeting. Each meeting will also have slightly different information, so you can attend both.&nbsp;

         <title><![CDATA[Join us for the MBC Turkey Trot on November 24]]></title>

	The annual MBC Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 24.

	Minnesota Boat Club members, family and friends are encouraged to spend Thanksgiving morning burning some calories and having fun at the MBC Turkey Trot.&nbsp;The course is three miles along the Mississippi River.

	Register on the day of the race. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. Awards follow the run.

	Cost is $1 for members and their families; $5 for non-members.

MBC will be well represented this year at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta in three races. The prestigious head race will be held on Oct. 23 and 24 in Boston, Mass.

The casual, fun race starts at the Minnesota Boat Club. Boats race  upstream to Pike Island, row around the island and then back to the  boathouse. The race is about 13 miles.

         <title><![CDATA[NWIRA Results - MBC Brings Liption Cub Back to St. Paul!]]></title>

         <description><![CDATA[On Aug. 13 and 14, 53 MBC rowers from the competitive, U23 and junior  teams put a strong showing to repeat as the Grand Aggregate winners at  the NWIRA Championships held in Kenora, Ontario. For the second  consecutive year, the MBC rowers brought the coveted Sir Lipton Cup back  to St. Paul. This is the 32nd time in 107 years of the NWIRA Regatta  that MBC has won the Lipton Cup.
